When it says "And the rain will kill us all, we throw ourselves against the wall" he's talking about judgement day, and how then, everyone will know the truth about everyone, but at the same time everyone will have their backs to the wall because they don't want the truth about themselves to be revealed. "I did my time and I want out." The character is referring that he did his required time, either in Iraq, or in the military as a whole and wants out. This might have something to do with me being an Iraq War veteran, but I see it as an anti-war song.
